Marzena Łabędź supervises work of Labour Law Department
Marzena Łabędź specialises in labour and employment law and intellectual property law. She has been successfully representing clients before first and second instance courts. In her professional practice, Marzena Łabędź obtained extensive experience in many areas of labour and employment law, including hiring and recruitment, collective redundancies, individual dismissals, employee transfers, restructuring and management option plans. She advises in cases concerning collaboration between employers and workforce representatives such as labour unions or work councils, and participates in negotiations on collective agreements and other collective bargaining instruments. Marzena drafts employment contracts, managerial contacts, civil-law contracts, contracts for services with sole traders, and also any other types of contracts that may be used for the purposes of engaging individuals to perform work. She provides advice to clients taking tough decisions related to redundancies. She assists clients and represents them during audits conducted by the National Labour Inspectorate, the Inspectorate General for Personal Data Protection, Chief Sanitary Inspectorate, Social Insurance Institution and other institutions authorised to conduct inspections in the area of labour and employment law. Marzena prepares and drafts explanatory letters, reservations to audit reports, objections and appeals or responses to post-audit statements. She also works as a lecturer for large training companies, holding classes on labour and employment law, mainly for HR directors in big corporations.
Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University. A legal adviser admitted to the Regional Legal Advisers Association of Opole, professional licence number OP-C-647/2012.
