Protection of Key Assets

During more than two decades of the free market economy in Poland, the majority of the country’s businesses have developed one common feature: within their organisational structure they have accumulated assets of a material value which have often many times exceeded the value of the business owners’ assets. In the event of a business failure, the assets are exposed to the risk of loss because they are held by a single entity. Many large and medium-sized enterprises, including state-owned companies, use various methods to manage that risk, skilfully administering the structure of their assets.

These methods allow for the allocation of individual assets into different risk classes. For key assets, the risk can be eliminated altogether. When advising newly organised or restructuring business ventures, our lawyers develop and implement solutions which protect the core value of the business.
